Pay Grade: H District Entry/Hiring Salary: $29,973.63/year
Maximum Hiring Salary: $34,169.94/year
Salary is based on education and experience

LOCATION: Babies Can’t Wait, Columbus Department of Public Health, 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center.

DUTIES: Under general supervision, this position will provide families with information, skills, and support related to enhancing the development of children with developmental delays. Special Instruction duties include, but not limited to, the design of learning environments and activities that promote the infant’s or toddler’s acquisition of skills in a variety of developmental areas, including cognitive processes and social interaction; Curriculum planning, including the planned interaction of personnel, materials, and time and space that leads to achieving the outcomes in the IFSP for the infant or toddler with a disability;
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in rehabilitation, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, social work, education or related area from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, human services, or related field. Related degrees include child development, pediatric nursing, and psychology.
