Public Notice

 The Quitman County Board of Health will host a public hearing at 4:00 pm on August 21, 2019 at the Quitman County Health Department.  The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on three (3) proposed rules.  These rules are:

  1. Minimum Lot Size Rule
  2. Body Art Rule
  3. Well Location Permit Rule

These rules are available for review at the Quitman County Health Department, 105 Main Street, Georgetown, 39854, or at https://westcentralhealthdistrict.com/counties/quitman/.   Written comments may be submitted to the Quitman County Health Department, 105 Main Street, Georgetown, 39854.  Verbal comments are welcome at the hearing.  If you wish to speak at the hearing, contact the Quitman County Health Department at 229-334-3697, to be placed on the agenda.
