Maximum Hiring Salary: $51,811.56

LOCATION: Children’s Medical Services, Columbus Health Department
2100 Comer Ave. Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, H & H Services Center
DUTIES: Under general supervision, this position will provide guidance and oversight of the Columbus CMS (Children’s Medical Services) program and will provide care coordination and case management to infants and children 0 – 21 years of age. As the EHDI (Early Hearing Detection & Intervention) Coordinator, this position will review all newborn hearing screens and provide oversight and support for the district program while acting as a liaison between hospitals and the health district, working with State staff to address hospital performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in nursing, public health or related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of nursing experience
AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse License AND CPR certified.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Professional experience in public health nursing and completion of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing
