The Columbus Health Department will be closed Monday, June 29th, and Tuesday, June 30th, as we prepare to open at our new location at 5601 Veterans Parkway, on Wednesday, July 1st. The Health Department is located on the lower level of the building, with the covered entrance on the north end.
COVID-19 testing will be available on Monday and Tuesday at the current location of 11th Ave. and Center St., from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Because of the pandemic, most departments and programs are operating on an appointment only basis. However, HIV testing will accept walk-ins beginning Wednesday, July 1st, and walk-ins will be accepted at Vital Records for birth and death certificates only. COVID-19 Testing will remain at the current location on 11th Avenue and Center Street, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. There will be no testing on Saturday, July 4th.
WIC clients may call 706-321-6374 for services until the drive-up service resumes on Wednesday, July 1st in the front parking lot at the new location.
All Administrative Offices, Human Resources, and Environmental Health will remain at 2100 Comer Avenue, 2nd Floor.
