PAY GRADE: M Minimum Hiring Salary: $72,600/year
Salary is based on education and experience

LOCATION: District Clinical Services, Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904

DUTIES: Under supervision, this position is responsible for providing evidence-based primary HIV care to patients enrolled in the program. Will perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to collecting patient histories, performing physical exams, reviewing lab results and/or medical records, developing and implementing treatment plans, making referrals as appropriate, and providing treatment and counseling as indicated. This position will be housed at the Columbus Health Department, but some travel to satellite clinic(s) may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate or Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Nursing care experience in HIV/AIDS; Knowledge of, or experience in, Infectious Disease/Primary Care.
