LOCATION: Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904
DUTIES: Under limited supervision, this position will manage the day-to-day operations of the COVID-19 drive-thru Specimen Point of Collection (SPOC) site. Includes, but not limited to, supervising support staff, setting up prior to and breaking down after each SPOC, ensuring adequate supplies are available, and ensuring specimen linkage and courier pick up. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, tolerate heat and/or cold while working outside wearing a face mask and other necessary PPE for the duration of the shift.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of nursing experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification OR Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current GA Registered Professional nurse license AND CPR certification.
