Taylor County Health Department, 178-1 Charing Rd., 178-1 Charing Rd., Butler, Georgia 31006
DUTIES: Under supervision, this position will serve the counties of Macon and Taylor. Will be responsible for traveling and setting up school vaccination clinics across West Central Health District’s 16 counties and administer the COVID vaccine. Will perform a range of duties which include, but not limited to, immunization audits, on-site vaccination coordination, school-based Flu clinics, Scoliosis screenings, and school-based COVID immunizations and testing. Must be legally able to administer vaccines. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, tolerate heat and/or cold while working outside wearing a face mask and other necessary PPE for the duration of the shift. *Work hours will vary based on Vaccine Clinic schedules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Note: No experience required.
