COVID/Employee Health, Registered Nurse

Temporary, Part-Time, Hourly Position

$45.00 per hour

LOCATION: Columbus Department of Public Health, 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center

DUTIES: Under supervision, this position support Employee Health and the Epidemiology Department with COVID-19 response efforts across the West Central Health District. Will perform a variety of duties which include, but limited to: employee immunizations, COVID testing, contact tracing, case investigations, data collection/data entry of patient information, utilization of Georgia patient data systems, such as the State Electronic Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (SENDSS) and the Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services (GRITS), utilization of epidemiologic methods to support contact tracing for COVID-19, and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.
