PAY GRADE: M District Entry / Hiring Salary: $66,158.17/year
Salary is based on education and experience
LOCATION: Columbus Dept. of Public Health, 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center
DUTIES: Under Supervision, this position will oversee the daily work of the district’s assigned COVID-19 Health Equity Navigators and will liaise with the state office District Liaison on COVID-19 health equity outreach efforts throughout the West Central Health District. Will assist in community outreach and engagement, training, and support in connecting community members with resources and services. Assist with improving testing and contact tracing among populations at higher risk and that are underserved, including racial and ethnic minorities and rural communities. This position will assist with addressing vaccine hesitancy within these communities and other challenges including difficulty navigating processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Two years of related experience.
