Pay Grade: J District Entry/Hiring Salary: $43,000/year
Salary is based on education and experience
LOCATION: Crisp County Health Department, 111 254th Ave., East, Cordele, GA 31015
DUTIES: Under supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures. Functions as an expanded role nurse based out of the Crisp County Health Department but also floats to neighboring county health departments to provide nursing support as needed. Provides nursing care consistent with patient’s level of need. Utilizes the EMR system to accurately document patient care and enter billing information for reimbursement. Orders and dispenses medications based on nursing assessment and according to established nurse protocol. Will serve as patient advocate and refer patients to community partners or private physicians, when indicated.
MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. No experience required. *A copy of college transcript is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and one (1) year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
