PAY GRADE: F District Entry/Hiring Salary: $33,000/year
Salary is based on education and experience
LOCATION: Crisp County Health Department, 111 254th Ave., East, Cordele, GA 31015
DUTIES: Under supervision, administer immunizations according to Nurse protocols and established procedures; assist with the annual immunization audits in the local schools and day care centers for compliance with state immunization laws. Participate in the annual scoliosis screenings in the local schools. Participate in health fairs and educational programs with community partners. Assist in meeting the emergency responsibilities of the department. Participate in exercises to assess emergency preparedness status and plan for response. Perform TB screenings and administer PPD skin test, in clinic and outreach events as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND two (2) years of LPN public health experience AND current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse license AND CPR certification. *A copy of college transcript is required.
All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
