Full-Time, Unclassified Position

Annual Salary: $36,336.06/year

LOCATION: District Administration, Columbus Department of Public Health, 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center

DUTIES: Under general supervision, this position will provide direct administrative support daily to the District Health Director and District Administrator as well as Accounting, IT and Personnel as needed. This position will serve as liaison between state, district and county level staff and community partners. Will require intermediate skills in Microsoft office products and applications, virtual conferencing platforms, calendar and meeting management and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Four years of related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Four or more years, experience managing correspondence for high level managers, including drafting documents. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion. Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
