EMS – $25.00 per hour
LPN – $25.00 per hour
RN – $45.00 per hour

DUTIES: Under supervision, this position is housed in the Crisp & Dooly County Health Departments and will be responsible for traveling and setting up mobile clinics and providing vaccine support across West Central Health District’s 16 counties. Will administer COVID-19 vaccines, Monkeypox vaccines, and Flu vaccines. Will perform testing as indicated: uses a tablet or computer to register patients, enters data, prepares test kits for patients, demonstrates nasal self-swabbing, assists with COVID specimen collection after patient self-swabs, and handles specimens. All Clinical staff must be legally able to administer vaccines. Other duties may include screening for STDs and Lead. Clinical Staff must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, tolerate heat and/or cold while working outside wearing a face mask and other necessary PPE for the duration of the shift. *Work hours will vary and include weekdays and weekends.
EMT/EMS: Georgia EMS Personnel currently licensed in good standing at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), EMT-Intermediate, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), Cardiac Technician or Paramedic levels. EMS personnel are required to have a HS Diploma or GED AND current Georgia certification as an EMT Basic AND CPR certification AND valid driver’s license.
LPN: Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
RN: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Note: No experience required.
All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to: staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
