PAY GRADE: M District Entry / Hiring Salary: $74,758.74
Salary is based on education and experience
LOCATION: District Clinical Services, Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904
DUTIES: Under broad supervision, this position will be housed in Columbus and will travel to satellite clinics within West Central Health District as indicated. Will work closely with the Ryan White Medical Director. Will perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, participate in the planning, organizing, and evaluating the Ryan White program to ensure goals and objectives of the program are met; coordinate program services with other service providers and community organizations to ensure optimal patient care, and develop and sustain community partnerships. This position will provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and procedures, supervise, guide, and/or instruct the work of assigned staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of nursing experience AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification.
All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
