PAY GRADE: I District Entry/Hiring Salary: $37,970.99/year
Salary based on education and experience

LOCATION: District Human Resources, 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center

DUTIES: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating training sessions for the 16 counties of the West Central Health District. Participates in train-the-trainer and various other instructive seminars; Produces videos, pictures and/or presentations for use in support of training and marketing; Performs presentations and speeches using a variety of instructional techniques. Serve as the Wellness Ambassador promoting state and local health and wellness initiatives. Additional HR duties include, but not limited to, processing in new employees semi-monthly, organizing, preparing, and providing orientation to new employees quarterly, preparing and maintaining various reports, and assisting with all daily functions of the Human Resources Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or GED AND Two years of experience providing educational, training, or instructional services in functional area.

All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
