$31.50 per hour

DUTIES: Under supervision, this position will provide nutrition services for the Nutrition & Lifestyle Change Services Program. Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an outpatient setting with a variety of health concerns. Duties include but are not limited to individual and group nutrition counseling using evidence-based nutrition education collaborating with community partners, participating in continuous quality improvement projects, assisting in projects to increase patient referrals to nutrition programs, and facilitating diabetes prevention program classes. *Travel will be required across West Central Health District’s 16 counties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program AND One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist AND registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration AND licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
