SALARY: $51,811.56 Annually
LOCATION: District Administration, Columbus Department of Public Health; 2100 Comer Ave., Columbus, GA, 2nd Floor, Health & Human Services Center
DUTIES: Under supervision, this position will manage the Employee Health Program for all employees’ district wide. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to monitoring and tracking all new staff, as well as existing staff, to ensure completion of all initial and ongoing requirements of the Employee Health Policy; administration of various vaccines and PPD’s per policy; and overseeing the Respiratory Isolation Program for the district, including N95 fit testing for all staff. As the District Drug Coordinator, responsibilities to include, but not limited to ordering medications for all district programs, receiving and separating medications by county and/or patient and preparing them for delivery to the health departments, and serving as the 340B expert for the district, providing support to individual health departments by assisting with various responsibilities, such as annual immunization audits, annual scoliosis screenings, and community health fairs. This position will work directly with the District Nursing Director and the EP Team during an emergency response. *This is not a virtual position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. No experience required. *A copy of college transcript is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and one (1) year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
