SALARY: $74,758.74 Annually

DUTIES: Under limited supervision, this position will function as a PHN/County Nurse Manager in the Chattahoochee & Stewart Co. Health Departments. Will plan for client level & population-based nursing services; evaluate, compile, and submit data and reports by established deadlines; evaluate supplies, equipment and medication needs and ensure adequate levels are maintained; monitor clinic activity and modify schedule, as needed; coordinate peer reviews and protocol signature pages, mock drills, and emergency vaccine storage plans, as needed; order and approve requisitions for program supplies and medications / vaccines. Identify training needs of clinic staff and ensure training is provided. Identify new community collaborations and/or revenue resources, when applicable. Participate in the Nurse Manager meetings monthly/quarterly. *Travel will be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two (2) years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three (3) years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. A copy of college transcript is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Two or more years Public Health Nursing experience, and experience working as an Expanded Role Public Health Nurse.

If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
