Internships
From time to time, internships may be available in different programs at the Health Department. These are open to college and graduate students who meet the following criteria:
Submission of application does not guarantee an interview. Only candidates who are to be interviewed will be notified.
Clinical Internships
For nursing students who are looking for a clinical internship, with direct patient contact, please complete the Intern Application and Intern-Volunteer Agreement below and send to Julie.Sizemore@dph.ga.gov.

Multimedia Intern
We are currently seeking a multimedia intern to work with the public relations/information coordinator on several projects to help market the services of the health department. Duties include social media, website updates, creating flyers, brochures and other print and promotional marketing materials, help with monthly newsletter, events, and video production and editing.

Volunteers
Occasionally, certain programs may have the need for volunteers. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States, or lawful resident, pass a criminal background check, and have had a TB test within the last 12 months with negative result. Submission of application does not guarantee placement.
