Internships and Volunteers

From time to time, internships may be available in different programs at the Health Department. These are open to college students who meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • In good academic standing.
  • A citizen of the United States, or lawful resident.
  • A satisfactory criminal background check.
  • TB test with negative result.

All available internships will be posted.  Submission of application does not guarantee an interview. Applications will be accepted until posted deadline.  Only candidates who are to be interviewed will be notified.

Internships- 

Health Promotion is looking for two interns to support the department in providing health education and outreach. This would begin in the summer of 2019.

Volunteers

Occasionally, certain programs may have the need for volunteers.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States, or lawful resident, pass a criminal background check, and  have had a TB test within the last 12 months with negative result.
