WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children. It is a nutrition program that provides healthy food, nutrition education and other services free of charge to Georgia families who qualify. Click here to see if you and/or your children may be eligible.
Once you or your child has qualified for the WIC program, you will have access to:
- Nutrition assessments
- Health screenings
- Body measurements (weight and height)
- Hemoglobin checks
- Nutrition education
- Breastfeeding peer counselors
- Referrals to other health and social services
- eWIC card to purchase healthy foods
