Full-Time Unclassified Position
PAY GRADE: $35,387.99 Annually
LOCATION: Macon County Health Department, 110 Chatham Street, Oglethorpe, GA 31068
DUTIES: Under supervision, this position will be responsible for clinical and laboratory management including ordering, collecting, recording, shipping, and managing labs. Monitor and records temperatures daily, accesses patient immunization record and GRITS, administers immunizations, and prints immunization records. Will manage inventory, collect, record and report patient’s vital signs. This position will place and read Tuberculin Skin Tests (TST’s), perform hearing, vision, and dental screenings, provide Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for appropriate TB patients. Will participate with health fairs and community outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS: Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND Two (2) years of LPN public health experience AND current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse license AND CPR certification. *A copy of college transcripts are required.
All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency.
